Hi! I’m Kori.
In March of 2019 I bought a vintage 1971 Cardinal Camper and named her Poppy. The vision was to turn her into a mobile shop filled with wearables and home décor. Well…renovating a vintage camper took longer than I expected, then the world came to an end with Covid, and I moved to another state. In October of 2020 I finally participated as a vendor in my first event — without Poppy, ha!
Fast forward to April 2021 and I finally got to use Poppy as my mobile shop and see my vision come to life. It was glorious.
My vintage camper purchase gave me the push I needed to jump into my entrepreneurial goals and get involved with the local business community as a small batch maker. Anchored by custom bohemian style décor, my pop-ups also feature vintage decor, furniture, designer clothes, and more.
Now let’s talk about the interior design side of Koki. When I purchased a 1946 home in WA in 2018, I discovered my love for interior design after renovating it. SO many diy projects! I realized I had a knack for design when I sold the home in 2020 and got asked if I could sell the furniture and decor with it. My heart was full and it sparked the thought of - maybe I can do this for other people… So I went for it! I’ve now worked on multiple residential & commercial spaces and hope I can help you bring your vision to life, or even just help you find your vision and style!
Outside of being a maker and designer, I work in the cybersecurity world and have 2 chubby kitties. I am currently based out of Las Vegas, NV.
Thanks for reading Koki Design’s story and I hope to connect with you soon!
